You will be based within the Pharmacy department but will spend a significant amount of time working around the hospital site, ensuring the supply and delivery of medicines to clinical areas. ESNEFT recently completed a full site wide implementation of the EPIC electronic patient record which includes electronic prescribing and administration and pharmacy stock control system replacement. In addition to our fully automated dispensaries, we host one of the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service medicines advice sites and the Regional Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit (including a brand new Aseptic facility). About our Pharmacy Service ### Main duties of the job Provide a holistic Medicines Supply service to both internal and external customers in line with agreed pharmacy standards. Carry out a re-stocking service to the supply service customers. Receipt pharmaceuticals into the department from external wholesalers and suppliers; checking invoices diligently and in line with departmental procedures; then storing within Pharmacy in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. Issue and prepare goods for dispatch to customers.
