Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows. - The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy, along with a Degree, Honours Degree, or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, and be accredited by the HCPC. A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health is required. The candidate should be a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and demonstrate the ability to think critically and reflect on professional judgments, especially in complex and unpredictable contexts, seeking guidance from peers and more experienced colleagues when necessary. Active listening skills and the ability to seek the views of others to promote shared decision-making are essential.
