Or are you currently practicing as a Senior OT but are interested in the experience that an acute hospital rotation will provide? If so, we have the job for you! This exciting rotational full time post in the specialised services Therapies team at the University Hospitals of North Midlands has rotations including: o    Acute Rehabilitation Trauma Unit o    Paediatrics o    Fractured Neck of Femur o    Elective Orthopaedics o    Trauma Orthopaedics o    Neurosurgery & Neurology We are proud to treat the patients who are admitted to our Trust through our Major Trauma Centre, and want to ensure we continue to provide them with the highest standards of care. You will have the opportunity to be involved in providing early rehabilitation and complex discharge planning for a range of different conditions and injuries that are treated within a major trauma centre, included hand therapy interventions for trauma and elective patients. ### Main duties of the job You will be part of a large combined therapies team, which can offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities. Supervision will be provided by an Advanced Therapist and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning. Therapy Services at UHNM work within a 7 day shift system therefore the post holder will be required to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays.
