Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, the Band 6 nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring patients and their families receive holistic support that meets their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. The role includes clinical leadership and supervision of junior staff, supporting the delivery of safe, effective care while role modelling professional standards and best practice in palliative care. The post holder will contribute to maintaining a supportive and dignified environment, ensuring that care is aligned with patient wishes and promotes comfort, symptom control, and quality of life.
