Blake Day Service offers an innovative tier 4 eating disorder programme for young people aged 13-18 set in picturesque grounds situated in Winchester. We are seeking a caring and compassionate practitioner who is highly motivated to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care within our specialist service. As a senior nurse practitioner, you will have the opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient care to our young people, while also supporting junior nursing staff. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and proactive nursing professional, ideally with some experience of working with children and young people, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Individuals who do not have direct inpatient CAMHS experience but are able to demonstrate significant experience in other transferable areas of mental health or paediatrics are encouraged to apply. Alongside this, we will provide you with: *A robust and supportive welcome programme, including our local CAMHS Induction and wider Trust Induction. ### Main duties of the job As a Senior Nurse you will be an integral part of the senior leadership and multi-disciplined team, helping us to deliver high standards of care to the young people we support You will support the management of a clinical area including the deployment, supervision, teaching of staff/students and resources. To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within the multi-disciplinary team. This will include carrying responsibility for the assessment of needs of young people within the service ensuring the treatment and risk management plans are adhered to. To undertake assessments of young people who are referred into our service where required and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care as well as setting standards of care across clinical areas.
