The successful applicant will have an exciting opportunity to work as the transport doctor for the CenTre neonatal transport team. This experience should leave candidates well placed for a successful application to join a national training scheme. CenTre Neonatal Transport team provides neonatal transport service for East Midlands Operational Delivery Network (EMODN) and Coventry. It is one of the busiest transport services in the country with about 1600 transports in a year with a provision of high-quality, safe intensive care during transport including active cooling and nitric oxide. This service is hosted by the University hospitals of Leicester with neonatal teams from Leicester, Nottingham and Coventry. It is based in Castle Donnington. Successful candidate will have junior doctor contract compliant full shift rota being part of neonatal transport team based in Castle Donnington. They would work along with transport nursing team and transport consultant for safe transport of neonates from one unit to another.
