Working within one of Scotland’s largest and most innovative NHS Boards, you will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team committed to family-centred care, clinical excellence and continuous improvement. Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

- Princess Royal Maternity
- Permanent, full-time
- Rotational days & night shifts across 7 days, 11.5 hour days

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to neonates requiring intensive, high dependency, and special care
- Monitor and assess babies’ clinical condition, responding promptly to changes and escalating as appropriate
- Administer medications and treatments in line with local and national protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to care planning
- Support parents and families, providing education and emotional support
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care
- Adhere to infection prevention and control measures and health and safety policies

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

- Registered Nurse (Adult or Child) with current NMC registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- A relevant Neonatal qualification
- Compassionate and reliable individual with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
