### Main duties of the job

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Management Support Administrator supporting the West Suffolk Locality senior leadership team. The post is being offered on a 12 month fixed term basis and will be part time 22.5 hours per week, based at Wedgewood House, Bury St Edmunds.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, in a sometimes demanding office environment. You should be able to prioritise your work effectively, have excellent communication skills, and work as part of a team or alone using your own initiative and forward thinking. The role will require management of other staff members so experience of supervising staff will be an advantage.

Tasks will include, but not be limited to, minutes of meetings, transcribing, supervision of staff, diary management for senior leadership team, staff training and recruitment, dealing with investigations, providing meeting support including monitoring and updating locality action logs and spreadsheets. You will need to be a focused individual, have excellent organisational ability, a good telephone manner, flexibility and a good work ethic that supports the Trust's values. It is essential you have good skills in MS Office, especially Word and Excel. Travel to meetings/other sites is also occasionally required.
