As a Senior Learning Disability Acute Liaison Nurse, you will support adults with learning disabilities to access high-quality healthcare at East Surrey Hospital. This role is ideal for an experienced NMC-registered nurse, and we welcome applications from Learning Disability Nurses, Adult Nurses, and Mental Health Nurses, recognising the value of a diverse skill mix.

You will bring confidence in applying your specialist knowledge and clinical expertise to improve health outcomes and patient experience for adults with learning disabilities. A key focus of the role is championing inclusion and “mainstreaming” best practice across hospital services. You will deliver training to hospital staff, including induction sessions and bespoke learning opportunities, raising awareness and improving outcomes for people with learning disabilities.

As a Senior LD Acute Liaison Nurse, you will also take on leadership responsibilities, providing supervision and line management to 1–2 junior team members, supporting their development and fostering a positive team culture.
