### Job summary

Join our friendly and supportive team in the newly built Tiverton Endoscopy Unit, where you\\'ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout the endoscopy journey.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will support patients before, during and after endoscopic procedures, assist the multidisciplinary team in providing safe and effective care, and help maintain a positive patient experience within a modern and welcoming environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to develop their healthcare career. Full training will be provided, with excellent opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge in endoscopy. You will be supported to expand your clinical competencies, contribute to service development, and mentor junior colleagues as part of a dedicated team.

Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers (SHCSWs) form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings; out in the community, in our acute hospitals or within our theatres teams to name just a few.

You will be a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person.

The team

The Tiverton Endoscopy Unit is a welcoming, patient-focused service providing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. Our multidisciplinary team includes nurses, healthcare assistants, endoscopists, decontamination staff, and administrators who work closely together to deliver safe, efficient and compassionate care. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive team culture where staff feel valued, supported and encouraged to develop professionally.

Working Pattern: Our working hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-18:00. We do not routinely work nights, weekends or bank holidays. You will be rostered for 4 shifts per week to total 37.5hours
