It has the largest paediatric Haematology and Oncology centre in Europe. A unique opportunity in the Department of Haematology’s: Specialist Integrated Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service (Flow cytometry) has arisen for a suitably qualified Health Care Scientist. This is an excellent post for an enthusiastic and scientifically innovative individual. ### Main duties of the job You must have the relevant experience in Haematology, and Flow cytometry immunophenotyping as well as be able to demonstrate a broad range of knowledge and experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory setting. You will support the Lead Healthcare Scientist in the provision of a high quality flow cytometry diagnostic service to include: leukaemia diagnosis, Mylo/Lymphoproliferative disorders, red cell membrane defects, platelet disorders, monitoring of Minimal Residual Disease/ CART efficacy and characterisation of bone marrow haematopoietic cells.
