We are looking for someone to join our dynamic nurse led team and work across the sites and at Oak Road Treatment centre as required delivering a high standard of care. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities ### DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide a supportive role within the SACT Services for nursing, medical and clerical Staff whilst providing rotational cover between the Chemotherapy unit and Outreach services - Undertake the nursing care needs of patients, ensuring privacy & dignity maintained - Write reports of care given under the covering signature of a qualified nurse - Participate in nursing procedures appropriate to the department - Support and assist in the induction/training of junior Health Care Assistant’s - Rotate to cover the phlebotomy room taking requested blood from CVC’s, porta Cath and peripherally. - Rotate to cover outpatient clinics, responsible for rooming patients, height and weight recording, observations when necessary and lease with medical staff. - Be able to act as a team co-ordinator on the treatment floor and ensure the safe and timely through put of patients. - Rotate to work on the treatment floor, assisting nursing staff during treatments and discharging patients. - Rotate to work on the chemotherapy outreach peripheral clinics, including the Mobile Chemotherapy Unit.
