Join us as a Senior Educational Mental Health Practitioner within our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. If you’re looking for a role where you can combine clinical expertise with creativity and collaboration, this could be the perfect next step in your career. ### Main duties of the job We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to improving young people’s mental health. You will: Carry out high-quality mental health assessments for children and young people referred to the service. Deliver CBT or CBT-informed interventions, individually and in groups, tailored to assessed needs. Provide consultation and advice to education staff and other professionals to support whole-school approaches to mental health. Manage a defined caseload effectively, ensuring timely care planning and delivery. Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to colleagues and trainees. Monitor outcomes using Routine Outcome Measures (ROM) and engage in clinical review where necessary. Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
