Working as part of the Velindre University NHS Trust (VUNHST) Digital Services Team, the Senior Digital Infrastructure Lead plays a key role in delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing IT infrastructure across the organisation, supporting both the Welsh Blood Service and Velindre Cancer Centre. You will use specialist technical expertise to design, support, and improve infrastructure services across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring systems meet organisational and non-functional requirements while enabling ongoing transformation and service optimisation. You will take a flexible, innovative approach, supported by strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to support service delivery, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive improvements aligned to organisational priorities. You will be expected to: - Provide expert operational and technical support across infrastructure services - Lead complex incident resolution and preventative improvements - Monitor performance and maintain secure, compliant systems - Support infrastructure design, planning, and implementation - Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality digital services - Drive continuous improvement and innovation - Ensure services meet SLAs and organisational standards - Participate in an on-call rota as required ### Main duties of the job Experience of working within a senior IT Infrastructure role and support environment is essential.
