Are you ready to use your Cyber Security skills to make a positive and meaningful impact on peoples lives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Cyber Security Team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Reporting to the Cyber Security Team Lead, you will play a key role in providing Cyber Security assurance, governance and compliance across the Trust. You will help ensure that our systems, services and information remain secure, resilient and compliant with relevant standards and requirements. ### Main duties of the job

Experience working in a large, complex virtualised computing environment. Practical experience applying data protection legislation, standards and codes of practice. Good working knowledge of the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). Experience investigating and eliminating major virus/malware attacks within a large network infrastructure. Experience reviewing procedures and recommending improvements to hardware and network security resilience. In-depth knowledge of antivirus and vulnerability management products. Strong information risk analysis and management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex security issues. Ability to communicate complex technical security issues clearly and present compelling arguments to senior stakeholders Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and use initiative in a complex environment. ## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Understanding of, and practical experience of applying the GDPR or Data Protection Act (1998) and other related legislation, standards and codes of practice
- A good working knowledge of Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
- In-depth knowledge of available antivirus and vulnerability products
- Good working knowledge of information risk analysis/management

**Desirable**

- In-depth knowledge of penetration testing and/or ethical hacking

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience working in a large, complex virtualised computing environment.
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with and eliminating major virus/malware attacks within a large network infrastructure.
- Experience of reviewing process/procedures and recommending change to secure hardware & Network security resilience.
- Experience of contributing to service and performance improvement initiatives.
- Extensive experience of Microsoft Desktop Operating system administration, support and deployment.
- Experience of researching and analysing new products, conducting trails and evaluations, producing and evaluating balanced scorecards

- Thorough understanding of Backup technologies
