Job Summary
The Early Phase Team within SJUH Clinical research Facility are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join us as a Senior Clinical Trials Assistant at St Jamess Hospital. This role provides an opportunity to make a difference to patient care and experience within LTHT, ensuring research is considered as a treatment option for all eligible patients.

The successful candidate will have clinical trials experience and an understanding of how trials are delivered within the NHS. They will be confident using a range of EDC systems and work independently to resolve data queries across multiple studies.

The role involves supporting a high-quality service whilst maintaining a complex portfolio of studies. The post holder will work closely with the Admin Team, Delivery Team, Investigators and Sponsors. Responsibilities include coordinating the Early Phase portfolio, tracking patient activity, SAEs and deviations, and maintaining accurate tracking logs.

The post holder will act as the first point of contact for recruiting studies, track patients throughout their trial journey, and enter complex data into case report forms. Attention to detail is essential, alongside ensuring compliance with trial protocols and Good Clinical Practice.
