At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter.

Important information for applicants: To ensure clarity of accountability, scope of practice and professional responsibilities, the Trust does not normally appoint individuals holding active NMC or HCPC registration into Band 2 Clinical/AHP Support Worker, Band 3 Senior Clinical/AHP Support Worker or Band 4 AHP Support Worker/Technician roles. ### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to GCSE D-G or Level 1 equivalent, including Maths and English (ECCTIS is required for overseas qualifications)
- Holds a valid Care Certificate or willing to complete within 12 weeks of commencing in post
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care/Equivalent qualification or willing/required to complete if successful (If applicant has 3 years or more care experience this is voluntary).
