NHS Lothian is seeking to recruit a 0.8 WTE Senior Clinical Psychologist. The post is fixed term until 31 March 2026. The post could be considered as a secondment opportunity.

The post will be based within the City of Edinburgh Council’s Community Justice Social Work services.

The post holder will take a lead role in the development and provision of psychological interventions for men who are in contact with community justice services. In particular, the post holder will work with Social Work colleagues to enhance the delivery of trauma responsive services.

The post holder will lead on service evaluation and be involved in local and national groups to improve services for men in contact with the Community Justice System.

The role involves working as the only psychologist within men’s community justice services but will have close links with the teams of psychologists working within women’s community justice and prisons.
