We are looking for applications from a current radiology trainee who at the time of appointment will have passed Part 2B of the final examination for the Royal College of Radiologists. If successful, you will be expected to work across all Trust sites at Royal Preston Hospital, Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital and the new CDC Health port, based in Preston. ### Main duties of the job You will be trained in PET CT and other aspects of oncological cross-sectional imaging by a group of expert Consultant Radiologists and will be expected to participate in the research and teaching and will be given a generous allowance in your weekly timetable to do so. You will preferably be in an existing radiology training programme and be eligible for Out of Programme Training. Although not essential, an interest in US and fluoroscopic non-vascular interventions would be advantageous. You will be expected to play a full part in departmental audit and clinical governance programmes. You will receive the full support of the Trust and the Directorate to develop specialist areas of interest in line with Directorate business plans and the development of services generally within the Trust and be expected to take on the role of educational supervisor for doctors in training attached to the department.
