Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust wishes to recruit an Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrar with an interest in obstetric medicine to a one year fellowship in obstetric medicine at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. This post is in a tertiary maternity and neonatal care unit and is available from April 2027. The duties of this post will be delivered at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. The rota is fully compliant with the new Junior Doctors Contract.

Applications are invited from committed and enthusiastic doctors for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Obstetric Medicine in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust and was awarded Outstanding by the CQC at its last inspection. The obstetric medicine service at QCCH has an international reputation and receives referrals from all over the UK. We are looking for a highly motivated and caring individual to work within our excellent team. The successful candidate would work under the supervision of the consultant obstetricians and maternal medicine specialists, consultant obstetric physicians and specialist midwives. There are two general obstetric medicine clinics per week, as well as specialist haematology, neurology, renal and pre-pregnancy clinics. The fellow would gain experience in the management of both acute and chronic medical diseases in pregnancy.

### Main duties of the job

Role Summary: This is a 12 month position at registrar level, ideally suited to a candidate who is interested in developing their skills in obstetric medicine within an internationally renowned centre.

- The post also includes an out of hours on call component at registrar level for both obstetrics and gynecology to participate in a 1 in 10 on call rota. The hospital is covered at night by an obstetric consultant (resident until 11pm then from home thereafter), a non resident Gynaecology consultant, a Senior Registrar (Specialist trainee 6/7), Registrar (Specialist Trainee 3-5) and SHOs (Specialist trainee 1/2).
