We are active in the teaching of both Medical Students and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trainees as part of the Nottingham Medical School rotation. Participation in out of hours on-call rota will be expected. 12 months fixed term ### Main duties of the job You will be expected to undertake the following duties: - Provision of a service to Sherwood Forest Hospitals, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department - The post holder is expected to contribute towards the teaching and training of medical students - Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences - Responsibilities for carrying out teaching duties as required and contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activity - Participating in medical audit, the Trust’s Clinical Governance processes and in CPD – CPD is provided in job plans and attendance at audit and other governance meetings is mandatory.
