The successful candidate(s) will join a hardworking, passionate team of 7 Consultants, 8 Clinical Fellows , ANPs and will work closely with our Breast Care Nurse CNS team. Appointees will gain a multitude of experience including running the one stop clinic and follow ups, weekly theatre lists (inc. reconstruction and joint oncoplastic cases), ward rounds and MDM. The post holder will participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care and to assist with service developments. The post holder will also contribute to the management of the clinical service and to service developments. ### Main duties of the job The Fellow’s Breast Service responsibilities will include: - Operating sessions (Assisting) - Outpatient clinics (this will include clinics crosssite at Lewisham Hospital UHL) - Multidisciplinary team meetings, including case preparation - Ward round and daytime bleep holder - To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care - To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Clinical: The postholder will, together with colleagues, be responsible for the provision of services to the Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to include: (a)        Diagnosis and treatment of patients of the trust in such hospitals, health centres or clinics or other premises as required. (b)        Continuing clinical responsibility for the patients in your charge, allowing for all proper delegation to, and training of, your staff. Training of junior staff: The postholder will take responsibility for the training and direction of junior staff allocated to him/her under aegis of the training plan that that postholder has agreed with their supervising consultant.
