We currently cover one Intensive care unit and one High Dependency Unit, two obstetrics units and provide elective anaesthesia at both sites. Emergency surgery of all specialties is concentrated at St Helier Hospital, while the majority of the elective work is performed at Epsom General Hospital. The post holder will be encouraged to attend weekly educational departmental meetings which occur on both sites. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities ### On Call Duties: - The post holder will be required to be on call at either Epsom or St Helier Hospital. - The senior clinical fellow will be supported at all times by the Consultants and be expected to supervise junior fellows. As per experience and seniority, the on call rota slot will be allocated either on the senior tier (labour ward and paediatric emergencies) or junior tier (StH theatres or Epsom HDU).
