Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is required at the time of application and satisfactory completion of Foundation training or equivalent and General cardiology experience is essential.  The post does not award a National Training Number.  This post is not recognised as a ‘training post’ and if the appointee does not hold right of residence in the UK sponsorship will be required. The duties of this post are equivalent to those of a registrar at ST6-ST8  level .MRCP or equivalent is essential. ### Main duties of the job Please see the attached job description for full details about the department and the main responsibilities. The purpose of this Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology is to provide extensive training in advanced cardiac rhythm management at the Northern General Hospital. This is a large interventional electrophysiology centre in the UK. It serves the population of South Yorkshire and NE Derbyshire (1.8 - 2.0 million).
