We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Practitioner (Days) to join our team and help lead the delivery of exceptional care for our residents.

As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will combine hands-on care with leadership responsibilities, supporting colleagues to deliver outstanding care while ensuring residents' wellbeing, dignity and independence remain at the heart of everything we do. You will play an important role in creating a positive environment for residents, families and team members alike.

### Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will take on a leadership role, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents. Your key responsibilities include:

- Personalised Care: Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, meals, and daily activities while promoting dignity and independence.
- Companionship: Offering emotional support and fostering meaningful relationships.
- Leadership Duties: Supervising and mentoring care staff, conducting appraisals, supervisions, and interviews, administering medication and maintaining accurate records and supporting care planning, audits, and liaising with healthcare professionals.
- Promoting Wellbeing: Encouraging residents to engage in activities that enrich their lives, tailored to their interests and abilities.
- Upholding Standards: Ensuring the care home environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
