An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist with a specialist interest in CRM to join our friendly teams across St.Richard's Hospital Chichester and Worthing Hospital.

We are a forward-thinking department offering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies including Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Ambulatory Monitoring, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Pacemaker, ICD and Complex device implantation, follow up and angiography.  We are striving to expand on Physiologist led services and aim to provide and assist staff in Continuing Professional Development.

This post would be an opportunity for a Physiologist with core knowledge  and skills wanting to progress their career, working cross-site at both St.Richard's and Worthing Hospitals.

### Main duties of the job

- Assisting in the delivery of a high-quality Cardiac Investigation Service with a predominant interest in progressing skills within the cath lab and cardiac device follow-up
- Being able to perform a wide range of investigations including Echocardiography, pacemaker, ICD and complex device interrogation and follow-up with some supervision; assisting in PPM/ICD/CRT device implant procedures; assisting in all invasive investigations in the Cardiac Catheter Lab and providing comprehensive reports; Leading in Exercise Tolerance Testing as well as undertaking Holter analysis and reporting

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria.

- To organising and managing own workload
- Interpreting results and providing reports for Physicians
- Being conversant with Cardiac Arrest protocol
- Being aware of patient condition and when to call for Physician assistance
- Being fully aware of implications of results and refer to Cardiologist when necessary
- To organising and managing own workload
- Assisting in the day-to-day running of the department
- Undertaking supervision and training of staff and healthcare professionals
- Providing a role model for the Trust's values, Patient First approach, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and inclusive leadership

- Minimum of 2 years experience post qualification
