We're looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Business Analyst to join our Planning and Strategic Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise in data analysis, performance management and business planning to influence decision-making and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

In this role, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insights, helping leaders across the Trust understand performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions. Your analysis will play a key role in supporting operational performance, service planning and the Trust's medium and long-term strategic ambitions.

Working closely with colleagues across Business Planning, Divisional Management teams, Senior Leaders, Clinicians and partners across the local Integrated Care System, you'll build strong relationships and provide expert analytical support to a wide range of stakeholders.

### Main duties of the job

You will provide data and analysis to support the operational running of the RUH as well as to support service improvements and business planning.

You'll monitor the Trust's performance against national standards and provide analysis to drive improvement.

You will line manage and mentor junior analysts within the team.

You will build and update Power BI models and reports as well as SQL queries that support the running of the hospital and provide information to NHS England as well as ICB and other external partners.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
