Are you enthusiastic, willing to learn and up for a new challenge?The Senior Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) role offers an excellentopportunity to join a specialist team of aseptic pharmacy professionals.The successful candidate will work in a pharmacy cleanroom setting to assist in the provision of injectable medicines for patients. We take pride in delivering a safe and quality patient centred service.A level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services or Science Manufacturing Process Operative (SMPO) is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. For an unqualified candidate the post will combine practical workplace experience with a Level 2 SMPO training programme where you will achieve a professional qualification.The SMPO training route will cover:-How to prepare and maintain the working environment in pharmacy cleanrooms-Manufacture and assembly of medicinal products-Principles of working as a pharmacy professional in technical services-Aseptic principles and practicesThe ideal candidate will be a motivated and dedicated team player. You will communicate clearly and work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail whilst following established procedures. You will demonstrate initiative and be able to work autonomously at times.Whether you have pharmacy experience or are looking to launch a new career we would love to hear from you. This position offers a fantastic pathway into a rewarding career in healthcare.
