### The Role

The postholder provides patient focused quality service to assure an efficient and timely supply of pharmaceutical products and be the team leader for pharmacy staff working within goods receipt area. The accurate and safe assembly of medicines to be dispensed and to receive, check, package and despatch pharmaceutical goods

In this key role, you will:

- To lead the assistant technical officers and assist the Chief Technician with planning and prioritising work within goods receipt area.
- To receive and check all types of pharmaceutical products into the pharmacy department from wholesalers and other hospitals.
- Notify senior technician or pharmacist if there are any incomplete orders delivered.
- To receive prescriptions and orders at pharmacy dispensary from nurses, patients or portering staff.

What You'll Bring:

- Scottish Vocational Qualification Level II
- Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and work under pressure.
- Able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Commitment to CPD / Self motivation
