If you are enthusiastic, organised and committed to excellence, we would love to hear from you. ### Main duties of the job Under the supervision of the lead pharmacy technician participate in the dispensing process for the Inpatient Dispensary; accurately labelling and dispensing medicines and other pharmacy products, including unlicensed and named-patient products, to fulfill all types of prescriptions. To participate in stock control management, maintaining adequate levels of stock and preventing wastage of drugs due to expiry. To use the current pharmacy computer system to accurately and responsibly record all issues, stock transfers and returns in order to maintain stock balances and promote efficient ordering and distribution. At all times to comply with all relevant policies of Main Pharmacy, and to ensure the maintenance of professional standards and compliance with legal requirements.
