We are seeking Assistant Technical Officers (ATOs) to join our Bank Staff Team within the Health Board. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work across various pharmacy service areas, supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe and cost-effective Medicines Management.

As a Bank ATO, you will:

- Supply of stock to wards and departments
- Dispense medicines for both in-patients and outpatient services
- Support the co-ordination of patient discharges
- Assist the pharmacy Medicines Management team at ward level

Our Pharmacy team is forward thinking and continually strives to improve the delivery of patient focused pharmaceutical care and optimise the use of medicines within the Health Board.

Pharmacy operates a 7-day service; therefore, shifts will include weekend working.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Basic IT experience

**Desirable**

- Experience in hospital or retail community pharmacy.
- Customer care experience
- Stock maintenance experience
- Team working

### Language skills

**Desirable**

- Welsh Speaker (Level 1)

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Good standard of secondary education to include 4 GCSE's at C or equivalent
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- If not held, willing to work towards Buttercups / NVQ 2 Qualification in Pharmacy

**Desirable**

- Buttercups / NVQ 2 Qualification in Pharmacy
- ATO Medicines Management qualification
- Knowledge of drug names
