This role will involve regular travel to Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans

### SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR

This role will sit within the welcoming Senior Administrator Team, providing senior administrative support across Children’s Specialist Services and to the associated administrative teams.

This role offers extensive exposure to a broad range of clinical and administrative processes across the different Children’s Specialist Services, providing an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and enhance professional administration skills within the NHS. The post would be particularly suited to an experienced administrator who is motivated to take on additional responsibilities, including the supervision and line management of staff, supporting service development, and contributing to the effective delivery of high-quality administrative services.

HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. ### Main duties of the job

Act as a key point of contact for clinical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team. Providing leadership and cross-cover supervisory support to the CSS Administration Teams to ensure the effective and seamless delivery of services.

The post holder will oversee and support administrative workflows across a range of services, helping to drive consistency, efficiency and continuous improvement, whilst deputising for the Administration Leads as required.

- Experience of preparation of reports and taking of and producing formal minutes, together with preparing agendas and distribution of associated papers
- Experience in drafting correspondence for approval
- Experience of arranging complex conferences/seminars and large meetings
- Experience in managing and prioritising a heavy workload
- Experience of organising travel and accommodation requirements

**Desirable**

- Desirably experience of working within NHS / Healthcare environment
- Desirably experience of maintaining and updating intranet/web pages
