- peer support from a large group of colleagues on the rotation,
- a multi-professional preceptorship programme.

## Person Specification

### Skill

**Essential**

- Ability to work single-handedly with individuals and groups
- Ability to manage own workload and determine priorities
- Able to work under pressure
- Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance
- Good understanding of how the OT role relates within the acute NHS setting
- Knowledge of evidence based practice

**Desirable**

- Training and facilitation skills
- Use of an electronic patient record

### Experience

**Essential**

- Evidence of sound discharge planning in the acute sector.
- Experience as an OT some of which must be in the acute. NHS physical sector.
- Documented evidence of CPD.

**Desirable**

- Experience of research and audit
- Advice and informal supervision to support staff and students

### Qualification

**Essential**

- Degree or Diploma in OT
- HCPC registration

**Desirable**

- Fieldwork educators course
- Evidence of post graduate CPD
