These units provide education for the following groups of children who are at risk of not achieving positive outcomes: - children and young people with special educational needs - children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties who are struggling or who have been excluded from mainstream schools. ### Main duties of the job You will be supported by a skill mix team of school nursing professionals to deliver the ‘Healthy Child Programme From 5-19 years old (DOH 2009)’. The post holder will work in partnership with professionals from multiple agencies to meet the health needs of this specific population of children and young people, together with their families and the wider community where this is relevant You will be responsible for the coordination of the health needs of any Camden children who are under a Child Protection plan who are not currently attending a Local Authority maintained school.
