The post holder will provide Psych educational support to schools within the Mental Health Support team (MHST) using the ‘Whole-school Approach’ to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. Supporting the school mental health & wellbeing co-ordinator, the post holder will work with the whole school community (teaching professionals, children, parents, volunteers, and support staff) to break down stigma of mental health issues, and support children to become more resilient so they are better equipped to understand and manage their emotions. This will involve delivery of whole school approach presentations around mental health and wellbeing to both students and professionals of varying age and audience size, as well as attending and representing YMM at countywide promotional events.
