An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our responsive and well established school nursing team as a support worker. We welcome applications from individuals with experience of working with children and young people. Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health Care and be a car owner/ driver ### Main duties of the job Support workers within Sandwell School Nursing team will work together to support the delivery of public health agenda across Sandwell. Support workers work together with qualified staff to deliver universal services such as health promotion the national child measurement programme, school readiness sessions, parent drop its as well as delivering targeted support for children young people and families across Sandwell. Duties will be carried out in a variety of settings including schools, health centres and other community settings within Sandwell,  liaising with other disciplines as and when necessary to support the health and well being of the school aged population. To work within school health policies and procedures and within agreed clerical and clinical standards for the School Health Service.
