We are recruiting to a part-time School and Community Health Facilitator role in Gloucester city to work 18 hours per week over 3 days in the school term time.  You will work alongside the School Nursing team to - deliver the National Child Measurement Programme and Vision Screening - give advice and support to parents concerned about their child's weight, sleep patterns, anxiety and other health issues - complete delegated packages of care We offer: - An Induction Programme, robust training and competency frameworks to underpin transition into role - Clinical Supervision and Safeguarding Children Supervision to support learning and practice This role offers diverse and rewarding opportunities for you to make a difference to children and family lives through advice, support and signposting using public health skills. ### Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work autonomously or as part of a team to provide screening programmes to children at primary schools in the Gloucester city locality to identify and address health needs in the local population.  You will facilitate parent groups providing advice and support for health issues they are concerned about in their children.  This may also include one to one work with families following a package of care.
