### Job summary

The Docs are seeking a motivated and patient-focused GP to join our team on a 13-week fixed-term basis (salaried or locum),to provide cover during a planned period of sabbatical leave.

This role offers 6-sessions per week, working Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 4 January 2027 until 2 April 2027.

It represents an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a short-term position within a well-organised and supportive practice environment, with the potential for further locum or salaried opportunities prior to and beyond the contract period.

### Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will:

- Provide routine and urgent GP appointments across 6-sessions per week, both in-person and over the phone
- Deliver safe, effective, evidence-based clinical care
- Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
- Undertake associated clinical administration and results management
- Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team
- Support continuity of care throughout the sabbatical cover period

### Job responsibilities

The GP will manage a varied caseload, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a primary care setting.

Responsibilities include consultations, home visits, prescribing, and contributing to the overall clinical and operational functioning of the practice.
