Job Summary

We are a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice looking for an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our clinical team for 46 sessions per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified GP seeking a supportive environment with opportunities for career development, mentorship, and special interest work.

You will provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care to our registered population, working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to meet the health needs of our diverse community.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, you will:

- Provide consultations in person, over the telephone, or via video for a variety of acute, chronic, and preventive care needs.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of medical conditions.
- Prescribe safely and effectively, and conduct medication reviews.
- Arrange and interpret appropriate investigations.
- Refer patients to secondary care and community services where required.
- Offer health promotion advice, lifestyle support, and preventive interventions.
- Participate in the duty doctor rota, managing same-day demand and occasional home visits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the practice clinical system.
- Contribute to clinical meetings, audits, significant event reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the practice in meeting QOF, Enhanced Services, and other contractual requirements.
- Maintain professional development in line with GMC revalidation requirements.
