The Key Medical Practice is a 12500-patient surgery sitting at the heart of its community in Kidlington, providing accessible, high-quality primary care to the patients and families who depend on it whilst also being a warm and friendly place to work.

High-quality support is given to ensure plenty of time to focus on clinical work and professional development.

Work plan: 13 x 15-minute routine appointments per morning session and 12 x 15-minute routine appointments per afternoon session.

Locally provided Home Visiting service. Less than 1 visit per week typically.

6 weeks annual leave/1 week study leave pro rata

Extra annual leave well-being day.

Branch Surgery in Yarnton (1.7 miles away)

Our surgery hours are 08.30 18.30.

In-house educational program. Alternating weekly clinical and GP meetings.

No out of hours or weekend commitments.

Daily debrief over coffee for all clinicians.

We are a training practice.

Full multidisciplinary team (Nursing team, Pharmacists, AHPs, Physios).

Good focus on maintaining positive work life balance

### Main duties of the job

The Person:

We are looking to appoint an experienced GP who is motivated, independent, and interested in providing high quality clinical services to a varied population. The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly across the 2 sites and subject to agreement this may include some weekend hours in their pattern of work.

The Practice has a high-achieving QOF track record and is closely involved in local GP-led commissioning, with mostly paperless administration; our main practice system is EMIS Web, and our GPs also Docman regularly.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for an GP who is able to provide GMS services and fulfil all the various aspects of day-to-day general practice at our Kidlington and Yarnton Surgeries.

This would include covering care homes, supervising GP registrars/F2s and working alongside our wide and varied mix of allied health professionals. The right person will have experience in managing their own patient list and assisting with meeting QOF targets.
