### Job summary

Southend Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried General Practitioner to join our well-established, forward-thinking practice on a fixed-term basis through GP Scheme Funding.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse population. ### Main duties of the job

- Provide high-quality general medical services to registered patients.
- Undertake routine surgeries, telephone consultations and home visits as appropriate.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to safeguarding, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Support continuity of care and patient-centred service delivery.
