### Job overview

Join Town Centre Surgery as a Salaried GP and deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse, multilingual and mobile practice population. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, combining the variety of traditional General Practice with proactive long-term condition management, same-day care and meaningful quality-improvement work.

This is an opportunity to make autonomous clinical decisions while collaborating closely with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physician associates, paramedics and care coordinators to improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities. You will help shape safe, accessible and equitable services, with an active role in clinical governance, prescribing safety, QOF delivery and continuous improvement.

### Main duties of the job

- Provide safe, effective GP consultations through face-to-face, telephone, online and video appointments.
- Assess, diagnose and manage acute, routine, undifferentiated and long-term conditions, providing clear safety-netting and follow-up.
- Request and interpret investigations, review results and correspondence, prescribe safely, undertake medication reviews and make appropriate referrals.
- Participate in same-day access and triage, prioritising patients by clinical need and escalating capacity risks appropriately.
- Proactively manage long-term conditions and preventative health, supporting recall systems, treatment optimisation, QOF achievement and accurate coding.
- Maintain timely, high-quality clinical records and complete administration, referrals, results and clinical tasks using SystmOne.
- Contribute to safeguarding, MDT working, audit, significant-event learning, prescribing safety and wider clinical governance activity.
