The successful candidate will work towards running clinics for some inherited conditions. He /she will demonstrate an understanding of the psychosocial impact of how genetic conditions affect patients and their families.

Participation in teaching and research is encouraged and there will be opportunity to network with colleagues in the other National Genetic Centres in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow at various forums and study days.
