Our rotations are currently 6 months in duration and we offer a wide range of experiences including Musculoskeletal Disorders, Trauma and Orthopaedics, General Medicine & Medical Respiratory, Older People’s Rehab, Cardiac, Surgery/ITU and Stroke. We also offer an acute stroke rotation that is based at Southmead Hospital and community-based ICSS. As part of an integrated therapy service you will report to a Band 7 Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist team lead in your clinical area. In all areas you will be able to access senior PT professional support and training and development opportunities. We operate a 7 day level of working in some teams and a 6 day level of working in other teams meaning that you will contribute to 1:4 Saturday &/or Sundays. You will contribute to Bank Holiday working and on-call respiratory rota. We are unable to support relocation costs for this post. We may close the advert early, should we receive significant applicants. We are unable to consider applicants who do not have HCPC registration . ### Main duties of the job - To act as an autonomous practitioner, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment, and managing their own patient caseload within a speciality team, with the support and mentoring of senior physiotherapists. - Staff will rotate to different clinical areas across the Trust.
