### Job summary

Want to take the next step in your career and develop your MSK skills? Here at NELFT we have a well established band 7/8a team including ESPs to support your development as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. We offer a blended model of face to face and virtual clinics with the ability to spend some time working from home. Laptop provided. Our small, friendly teams work across clinics in the London Boroughs of Havering and Barking and Dagenham. Rotations are a diverse MSK caseload at different bases. Interview will be in person - no virtual interviews will be offered for this post.

### Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard of assessment and diagnosis, based on clinical findings, develop and implement an individualised treatment programme in conjunction with the patient referred to the Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Service. Educate and train Junior and Student Physiotherapists, and exercise therapists.. To be an active member of the in-service training programme. Maintain own competence through CPD. To act as appraiser of junior staff, using the service appraisal model to facilitate staff development and the production of a PDP. To maintain good professional standards of behaviour and appearance. To undertake the collection of data for use in service audit, and departmental research initiatives. ### Job responsibilities

Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes hospital.

Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, Goodmayes) This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,870 to a maximum of £6,137 p.a. pro rata for part time).
