We are looking for a motivated pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking pharmacist to develop their practice and skills.

Job Title: Rotational Clinical Pharmacist Band 6/7

Hours: 08:40-17:05 Monday to Friday. Saturday morning and Bank holidays on rota basis

Department: Pharmacy

Site: Trustwide - base site Grantham

### Main duties of the job

We are dedicated to ensuring that medicines optimisation is embedded across all aspects of care within the Trust to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective use of medicines.

We take pride in developing our pharmacists. We encourage our colleagues to pursue higher education qualifications, from clinical diplomas to DPharm and everything in between. We provide regular on-site clinical supervision and training. We will support you in delivering high-quality services to our patients and healthcare professionals.

The pharmacy department at ULHT is keen to create an environment where we can nurture and grow our talent. With this objective in mind, we have developed a progression programme, which supports the progression of our rotational band 6 pharmacists into band 7 posts without needing additional recruitment processes.

Applicants must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Master / Bachelor of Pharmacy
- 1 year pre-registration pharmacy training
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council

**Desirable**

- Certificate / Diploma / Masters Degree in Clinical Pharmacy

### Previous Experience

**Desirable**

- Clinical Pharmacy in a hospital environment
- Medicines Information experience

### Specific Requirements

**Essential**

- Ability to travel between hospital sites and for on call
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and situations

### Skills, Knowledge & Aptitudes

- Evidence of CPD
- Use of Pharmacy computer systems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Time management and prioritisation skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Dispensing and checking skills- ability to follow procedures and accurately supply medication
- Awareness of own limitations and when to refer to others for advice
- Awareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
