Leading the spondylarthritis nursing service and supporting the Rheumatology team, you will be working as a clinical nurse specialist responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care. Providing education, support and undertaking specialist nursing procedures for patients. You will be responsible for delivering specialist advice and working collaboratively with other members of the team for training and education. You will be part of a large multi-disciplinary team supporting and implementing an integrated approach to patient care, encompassing new treatments and evidence based care. This will be very much a team role, but with a degree of self-autonomy, so an ability to work independently and at outreach services when required will be very useful. Excellent communication skills, organisational ability and time management are a must.
