### Post of Retained GP

### 4 sessions per week

Applications are invited for the post of Retained GP, under the Scot GP Retain and Sustain Scheme.

Milton Surgery is a friendly, progressive and well-established training GP Practice with a reputation for innovation and person-centered care. We are a large, high-achieving practice, consisting of circa 8,000 patients, working from custom-built premises in the Duddingston area within North East Edinburgh. We are a 5 GP Partnership, supported by 2 Salaried GPs, 1 Retainer GP (this post), 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA and an experienced administrative team. This is a paperlite and Vision/Docman practice, with modern workflow management systems.

A rare opportunity has arisen to join this stable, supportive and friendly team due to our current Retainer GP coming to the end of their programme. We advocate a strong work life balance and are looking for a dynamic, like-minded individual who complements the team and further enhances our resilience allowing us to continue to deliver high quality patient centred care. We will provide a welcoming and supportive environment to allow the development of any applicant in any stage of their career. We are a supportive and fully sociable and cohesive practice team. ### Qualifications and requirements: -

- Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, included on NHS performers list

- Scot GP Retain & Sustain Scheme inclusion (we welcome applicants already approved onto the scheme, as well as new applicants including newly or soon to be qualified GPs)
