The post involves performing a wide range of diagnostic respiratory tests and assisting with investigations and treatment of sleep related breathing disorders. The department has a commitment to in-house and national training schemes and all staff are encouraged to continue with personal and professional development. We are a busy but friendly department and the successful applicant must be a well-motivated, enthusiastic individual who is flexible and can demonstrate an ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. They must also be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills. ### Main duties of the job Job Purpose: - To perform a range of physiological investigations on patients in order to aid clinical diagnosis and to provide factual reports. - To perform calibration and quality control on a range of equipment - To undertake all data documentation, clerical and admin tasks  associated admin role. - To provide a range of general duties to facilitate service efficiency, including stock control and infection control procedures.
