The Resourcing Department are looking for an enthusiastic Resourcing Officer to join the team

To assist in the provision of a quality, customer-focused, end to end recruitment administration service to meet the needs of allocated Speciality Groups, Departments and to support in the intake of candidates in accordance with Department and Trust guidelines, policies or procedures. The post-holder will co-ordinate and support, under the supervision of the Resourcing Officers the administration of assessment centres and recruitment.

### Main duties of the job

Working closely with the Resourcing Management team and Recruitment Managers the post holder will ensure the provision of a comprehensive, professional, high quality and cost effective recruitment service.

The post holder will lead the administration of processes and procedures, ensuring robust auditing processes are in place to achieve compliance with and adherence to employment legislation, guidance and best practice.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- Over-see the provision of an end to end recruitment administration service to allocated Specialty Groups for all non-medical recruitment, from initial advertisement, short- listing and interview processing, completion of pre-employment checks, preparation of contracts of employment, to completion and administration of new starter processes.
- Maintain ESR, Trac and NHS Jobs systems with all information connected to recruitment processes, such as short-listed candidates, and ensure all recruitment is completed in line with Trust Policy and Procedure and relevant Employment Legislation.
- Proactively work with recruiting managers to ensure a timely and customer-focussed recruitment administration service is provided at all times, providing specialist advice and guidance on recruitment processes in place within the Trust.
- Ensure the effective prioritisation and completion of recruitment work within the allocated Specialty Groups in accordance with deadlines and agreed standards, including delegation and monitoring the completion of recruitment administration work undertaken by Resourcing Assistants.
- Investigate and resolve queries and complaints received from recruiting managers and applicants within allocated Divisions, ensuring action to prevent any reoccurrence, escalating to Resourcing Team Leader and/or Resourcing Manager when required.
- Oversee international recruitment supporting the Resourcing Team Leader & Trust Leads for international recruitment in proactively working with Trust managers to ensure a timely and customer-focussed recruitment administration service is provided at all times, providing specialist advice and guidance on recruitment processes within the Trust.

- - Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word (to produce letters and reports) and Excel (to produce spreadsheets)
- Knowledge of using a HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and implications for recruitment and selection processes.

**Desirable**

- - Knowledge of NHS Jobs and Electronic Staff Record

### Experience

**Essential**

- - Working in a recruitment environment, providing an end to end recruitment administration service
- Communicating and dealing with members of the public
- Managing own workloads
- Experience of supervising other members of staff

**Desirable**

- - Experience of working in a public sector organisation and/or healthcare environment

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- - NVQ3 in Administration or Certificate of Personnel Practise or equivalent
